Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to your PC

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to your PC

Brace yourselves for Yakuza Kiwami 2, it will be in your PC sooner than you know it.

Initially released on PS4 in Japan in 2007, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of 2006’s Yakuza 2. But hold your horses and don’t jump directly to playing this. There’s a process in getting into the Yakuza series, you first play Yakuza 0 then Yakuza Kiwami and just after that you should jump into Yakuza Kiwami 2. The ESRB has given the game an M rating, this means “blood, intense violence, sexual themes, strong language, and use of alcohol.” Along with the rating, there is a summary of what you can expect from it. The ESRB is a US-based rating organization with a rating system that encompasses guidance on age-appropriateness, content, and interactive element. The organization enforces industry-adopted advertising guidelines to ensure responsible online and mobile privacy practices among companies.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 ESRB Summary

According to the summary, the players explore some parts of Tokyo and Osaka and join missions that end up in fistfights with thugs or rival gang members. There will be a lot of knives involved. Characters also use pipes and swords during combat, and they can trigger scripted special attacks like bashing heads into walls, stabbing enemies with a knife, and ripping off nails and teeth with pliers. There’s also screaming in the game and bouts of violence such as characters being shot in the head, being gunned down inside an elevator, or being executed with a shotgun. In this same page, ESRB highlighted that the players can order and drink alcoholic beverages at various bars. The players are then rewarded for drinking in the form of experience points. When a player gets too intoxicated though, his movements are much harder to control.
