After unveiling the new installment in the Mortal Kombat series which will mark the reboot of the series in terms of story, developer NetherRealm has surprised the fans with a very important announcement. Those eager to play the new Mortal Kombat 1 will have the opportunity to try the game ahead of release. The launch of the game is scheduled for September 9 but there will be a beta test event available in August. Only those that have pre-ordered Mortal Kombat 1 will have access to this event.
Fortunately, if you don't know if you should pre-order a Mortal Kombat 1 CD key at the best price with our comparator already or not, you have an opportunity to try the game for free. NetherRealm has announced a stress test event that will take place sometime before the game is released. The test is completely unrelated to the beta and it's open to all players. You must register here if you want to participate and you will need a WB Games account to participate in the test if you are picked.
The Mortal Kombat 1 stress test will only be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and the idea is to push to the limit the capabilities of the servers to test their stability. Only players based in North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe will be eligible to participate in the test. You can check out all the details about the test on the official FAQ page.
It's almost guaranteed that the test will be packed with players given the popularity of the series. Even if the performance is not the best, it's the only opportunity you have to try Mortal Kombat 1 for free before its launch. The game is already available to preorder for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
