This week's game launches on PC, PS5, Xbox: November 2026 (Week 45)

This Week's Video Game Releases - November 2026 (Week 45)
Release date

November is kicking off with an exciting week for gamers, with a particularly interesting selection of releases arriving between November 2 and 8. This week's lineup brings together legendary franchises, ambitious MMORPGs, action-packed adventures, rhythm games and family-friendly collections.

Two releases stand above the rest: World of Warcraft: Forever, which promises an epic return to the iconic world of Azeroth as we first knew it, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which returns in a completely reimagined version for Nintendo Switch 2.

However, there is plenty more to discover. From giant monster battles to futuristic racing and a new fantasy RPG, here are the eight games worth keeping an eye on this week.

November 2 – 8 releases

ArcheAge Chronicles – November 3

The week begins with ArcheAge Chronicles, an open-world action MMORPG developed by XLGAMES. Set in the fantasy continent of Auroria, approximately 50 years after the original ArcheAge, the game combines exploration, action-oriented combat and multiplayer adventures. Players can explore a sprawling world, develop their characters through different classes and weapons, explore dungeons and take part in raids, engage in PvP battles. The game also focuses on other activities such as crafting, trading and housing. Its November 3 release marks the beginning of its PC Early Access period on Steam, giving players the opportunity to experience its world while development continues.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered – November 3

Giant monsters return in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, an updated version of the 2002 kaiju fighting game. Players can choose from a roster of 12 monsters and battle across eight locations, including famous cities, Monster Island and an alien Mothership. Each of the monsters features distinctive attacks, ranging from devastating melee moves to powerful energy blasts and special Rage Mode abilities. The remaster improves the original experience with enhanced graphics, quality-of-life improvements, local cooperative play and online multiplayer. It is a particularly appealing release for Godzilla fans and anyone who enjoys spectacular arena-based fighting games.

World of Warcraft: Forever – November 4

One of the week's biggest releases is undoubtedly World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard Entertainment's new chapter in the legendary MMORPG franchise. Forever rises as an alternative to Classic in a form that reimagines the original experience in the world of Azeroth. It combines the foundations of the original game with new locations, quests, dungeons and gameplay systems. Set during the early years of the Warcraft timeline, the adventure takes players back to the original continents, with progression extending to level 60 and a persistent world that won't change as fast as in the main version of the game.

Among its most notable additions are more than 1,000 new quests, nine new dungeons, additional race-and-class combinations and the new playable Skyborne race. The game also introduces the Legacy System, an account-wide progression feature designed to reward exploration and activities beyond traditional character power progression. The objective is to preserve the sense of discovery and community that made the original World of Warcraft so influential while giving veterans and newcomers fresh reasons to explore Azeroth. Launching on November 4 for PC, access is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time. For longtime fans, this could be one of the most significant MMORPG releases of the year.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – November 5

The other major release of the week is a true icon in video game history. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, bringing Link's celebrated adventure back with a substantial modern overhaul. Originally released in 1998, Ocarina of Time is regarded as one of the most influential action-adventure games ever created. Its combination of exploration, puzzle-solving, memorable characters and epic storytelling helped establish many of the conventions still used by modern 3D adventure games.

This new edition goes considerably further than a straightforward re-release. Nintendo has rebuilt the presentation with completely overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes, expanded character dialogue, a symphonic orchestral soundtrack and modernized camera and movement controls. Players once again will join Link on a journey across Hyrule, while he attempts to prevent Ganondorf from taking control of the Triforce. This Switch 2 edition offers longtime fans an opportunity to revisit a classic and introduces a new generation of players to one of Nintendo's most iconic adventures.

K-Pop Rising – Dream to Shine – November 5

Music and creativity take center stage in K-Pop Rising – Dream to Shine, a life simulation and rhythm game developed by Old Skull Games and published by Microids. Players follow their dream of becoming K-pop stars alongside their best friend Nova. The journey involves creating a musical group, recruiting members, customizing characters, developing singing and dancing skills and building a fan community. The game combines rhythm-based challenges with management and customization elements, allowing players to progress from practice rooms to major performances. It also supports cooperative play for up to three players, making it an interesting option for fans of K-pop and music games.

Airframe Ultra – November 5

For players looking for something faster and more aggressive, Airframe Ultra delivers a futuristic combination of racing and vehicular combat. Set in the dangerous urban environment of Megacity West, the game puts players behind the controls of heavily customized racing machines known as Airframes. Winning is about more than speed: competitors can use weapons, upgrades and dirty tactics to eliminate opponents and reach the finish line. With character and vehicle customization, split-screen competition and online multiplayer, Airframe Ultra promises a chaotic racing experience where survival is just as important as crossing the finish line first.

Edge of Memories – November 5

Fantasy RPG fans will also have another new adventure to look forward to with Edge of Memories, developed by Midgar Studio and published by NACON. The story takes place in a world devastated by the Corrosion, a mysterious plague that transforms humans, animals and plants into grotesque creatures. Players follow Eline, a travelling Soul Whisperer who discovers a mysterious power that allows her to control the Corrosion within her own body. Accompanied by her mentor Ysoris and Kanta, a shaman prince, Eline must confront a growing threat and search for a way to save the continent of Avaris.

Combining action-oriented gameplay, fantasy storytelling and a distinctive post-apocalyptic setting, Edge of Memories is one of the week's most interesting options for fans of Japanese-inspired action RPGs.

Hasbro Games Junior Collection – November 6

Closing out the week is Hasbro Games Junior Collection, a family-oriented compilation bringing three familiar board games into a digital format. The collection includes Monopoly Junior, Clue Junior and The Game of Life Junior, offering different experiences built around property management, mystery-solving and life decisions. Designed with younger players and families in mind, the collection features accessible rules, customizable avatars, unlockable rewards and local multiplayer for up to four players. It is a welcome alternative for those looking for a more relaxed gaming experience or an entertaining option for family game nights.

Final Verdict: Two Major Releases Define the Week

Although November 2–8 offers a diverse selection of games, World of Warcraft: Forever and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time are clearly the week's headline releases. Blizzard is looking to capture the magic of classic MMORPG adventures while expanding Azeroth with new content and systems. Nintendo, meanwhile, is bringing one of the most influential games ever made to a new generation of hardware with a comprehensive visual and audio overhaul. Beyond these two major launches, ArcheAge Chronicles and Edge of Memories provide interesting alternatives for RPG enthusiasts, Godzilla offers monster-filled action, and K-Pop Rising and Hasbro Games Junior Collection bring more accessible experiences to the release calendar.
