Bloodborne has become one of the greastest hits for Playstation 4 since the next generation console from Sony was released to the market. No big surprise for an action roleplaying game acclaimed by players and critic that follows the style of their developers, the creators of the Souls series. From Software will release an expansion for their PS4 exclusive title on November this year. Bloodborne: The Old Hunters include a new array of weapons for the Hunter to use, like a curved edge that can transform into a deadly bow or a whip that converts into a katana. Throw into the mix new nightmarish locations where the ancient hunters of Yharnham have been trapped and a story that builds on the original one. You will get a very nice expansion designed to add about 8 hours of gameplay to the adventure.
Bloodborne The Old Hunters - Expansion DLC Trailer
What we didn't know about the expansion is that it was originally designed as two different DLC and that there is no more content on the works for the game. As revealed today during Tokyo Game Show: "We were originally planning on doing two sets of DLC. It was decided that with one set, we'd be able to do more with it, and have more volume for players to play with. As of right now, we have no plans for any more DLC," said Masaaki Yamagiwa, Sony Japan's producer for Bloodborne. We don't know if From Software is just focusing on the development and launch of Dark Souls 3, but it saddens us a bit to hear that there won't be more for such a good game after this expansion. Maybe a sequel could be possible in the future? Time will tell
