The Division 2: Episode 2 and Free Weekend Approach

Released last March, The Division 2 continues to offer more content to players. Indeed, Ubisoft announced during the E3 its roadmap for year 1.

After Invasion: The Battle for DC, which introduced the 8-player raid Operation Dark Hours, and Episode 1: Washington Outskirts, which made us discover the expeditions, Episode 2 has finally arrived. Called Pentagon - The Last Castle, it is already available for the holders of the Year 1 Pass, which in addition to proposing confidential assignments, unlocks the specializations of year 1 and various bonuses, and also gives access to all the episodes of the year 1 seven days earlier. Episode 2 Pentagon - The Last Castle, having been released yesterday for the lucky owners of the Pass, it will thus be available free for all the players from October 22nd.

It contains two new missions, "The Pentagon" and "DARPA Research Laboratory", two confidential assignments (only for players who bought the Year 1 Pass), and the new Technician specialization, that players do not have the famous Pass will have to unlock. The Technician is an electronics specialist and has a formidable weapon, the multi-missile launcher, which allows you to fire homing missiles on multiple targets at once. It also has a secondary weapon, the Maxim 9, and an Artificer variant for the Hive skill.

In parallel, if you do not have The Division 2, you will have the opportunity to play it for free on PC throughout the weekend. The free trial will run from October 17th at 10 am CEST until October 21st at the same time. To participate, all you need is a Uplay account and going to the game page. Preloading is already available on the Ubisoft platform.

Finally, a new update is coming to make a number of changes to loot and crafting in the game but also including a rebalance of PvE and PvP weapons and talents and a reworking of the standardization system in the United States Dark Zones and Conflicts. You can read the release notes and all the changes made to The Division 2 on the Ubisoft official website.
