Emilie “Lili” De Rochefort is a well-known character to the fans of the Tekken series. She first appeared in Tekken 5 and it has been present in several installments after that, becoming quite a popular character among the fans. Lili is the latest character that has been revealed as part of Tekken 8's roster at launch. Bandai Namco has released a new video showcasing her in combat against several fighters, including Leroy Smith and Asuka Kazama, who were presented before her.
The video shows Lili wearing a totally new outfit created by Jasmin Darnell, as revealed by Tekken 8 Director Katsuhiro Harada. She is able to perform a variety of combo attacks capable of easily knocking out her opponents. Beware of her little princess looks, she hits like a truck. If you are fighting against her, you may suddenly find yourself biting the dust if you let her chain a few strikes.
Lili will accompany at least 12 other fighters in Tekken 8's starting lineup. Unlike Capcom, who has chosen to allow players to create their own avatar to fight in Street Fighter 6, Bandai Namco has opted for a more traditional system for Tekken 8. It offers a renewed look for its fighters and adds some features that have been requested for years by the fans, like crossplay across all platforms. This will not only provide players with a much bigger number of opponents but also allow them to play with friends on other platforms.
Tekken 8 will launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Hopefully, it will arrive later this year, but no release date has .been confirmed so far. If you want to get it at the best price, check out the best prices on Tekken 8 codes with our comparator anytime.
