Star Wars Outlaws is the new open-world adventure from Ubisoft set in the popular sci-fi universe created by George Lucas. The game puts the player in the shoes of Kay Vess, a scoundrel trying to build a name for herself in a galaxy where the Empire and the Alliance fight against each other. We already know that the world of the game is huge and it will be full of handcrafted planets to explore. Also, we had the opportunity to learn more about Kay's story in a video and could also take a good peek at gameplay. However, there is still a lot more to know about the upcoming adventure, and Ubisoft has now revealed more details about the game's expected duration.

In a recent interview, Star Wars Outlaws creative director Julian Gerighty revealed that Massive Entertainment has calculated that completing the main storyline will take players about 25 hours. However, exploring all the content in-depth and completing all the side missions will take much longer and should keep the fans busy for more than 80 hours. This is long enough to keep hardcore players busy for several days, which is something that the fans will love.

Of course, this playtime does not include any post-launch content. While Massive Entertainment has not yet delved into this matter it's quite possible that the studio will release additional DLC to expand the story or even a sequel if the game becomes a hit. Being the first Star Wars game not in the hands of Electronic Arts for many years, Star Wars Outlaws presents itself as a good opportunity to surprise the fans.
