Publisher Activision has announced the release date of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice today at Gamescom 2018. FromSoftware, the creators of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, have decided to move out of their comfort zone and delve into the action/stealth genre with their upcoming title. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will take us to Japan during later half Sengoku era, a brutal period where we will play as a warrior in charge of protecting a young lord. Your story takes an abrupt turn when he is kidnapped and the attackers leave you for dead during the fight. Things start to get interesting when you are rescued from the brink of death and come back as the"one-armed wolf", seeking revenge and a way to restore your honor.
The official release date for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is March 22nd, 2019 and the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But the launch date is not the only thing revealed today. Activision has also announced the contents of the Collector´s Edition, a package that comes with the full game, a limited edition Steelbook, a 7" shinobi statue, a map, a collectible artbook, the digital soundtrack of the game, and three replicas of the Sengoku era game coins. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a title that will feature all the difficulty and amazing combat from the Souls series with a blend of ninja skills, stealth action, and brutal head-to-head combat in the dark and beautiful world of Japan in 1500.
