SEGA teased Yakuza Kiwami 2 for PC

SEGA is at it again, that eye patch in the logo is unmistakable, it’s Goro Majima’s!   There’s been a hint posted on their Steam storefront teasing a picture of Goro Majima’s infamous eye patch attached to their logo on the storefront. Goro was a playable side-character in Yakuza Kiwami 2. You can unlock his campaign titled, The Truth of Majima once you complete chapter six of the main campaign featuring Kazuma Kiryu.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 was launched in PS4 August of last year. This game is a remake of the original Yakuza 2 for PS2, PS3, and Wii U. It continues the story of the former yakuza Kazuma Kiryu as he deals with the Japanese underworld. As compared to the original, Yakuza Kiwami 2 had a lot of added features such as the already mentioned, The Truth of Majima campaign, mini-games later in the series, and several playable versions of Virtual-On and Virtua Fighter 2.

Another recent hint that Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to PC is the ESRB rating for the game’s PC version that was revealed last month. Everything is pretty much sure at this point; it’s really coming to PC. SEGA has been doing this for years now, the changing of the logo in their official Steam account. More than that, SEGA’s financial report states that they are also planning to release Yakuza 6: The Song of Life for PC this 2019. SEGA is having the time of their lives with these little tricks. They also came up with these little teasers for their other games in the past like the 8-bit version of Bayonetta, that was revealed as an April Fool’s prank before it was officially announced on Steam. Both Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami are already on PC so it isn’t surprising to see Yakuza Kiwami 2 making a landing on PC too. All in all, it’s a good year for all the Yakuza fans out there.
