Robocop: Rogue City won't launch on Switch

The new chapter in the story of the most famous cybernetic cop is hit by unexpected problems barely a week ahead of its release. Although Robocop: Rogue City was not going to be available on Nintendo Switch on November 2, all the fans of Alex Murphy expected that the game would arrive on Nintendo's hybrid console a bit later. Unfortunately, developer Teyon has confirmed that this won't be happening in a recent statement.

“At this moment we don’t have any plans for a Nintendo Switch release.”

Sadly, Nintendo Switch users will have to look at different platforms if they want to immerse themselves in the new FPS adventure starring Robocop.

Quite an anticipated return

Robocop: Rogue City has surprised the fans of the iconic hero from the 80s film with its exciting gameplay. The game is set in Detroit between the events in Robocop 2 and Robocop 3, and it features a brand new story that follows Robocop as he investigates a shadowy project that threatens the security of the citizens. Robocop: Rogue City puts at your disposal more than 20 different weapons to neutralize all kinds of threats while you patrol the streets. With Peter Weller, the original actor from the films, returning to voice the chrome-covered cop, the fans will immerse into a thrilling FPS adventure that looks quite spectacular in the footage released so far.

Whether you are a fan of Robocop films or not, Robocop: Rogue City offers you a thrilling experience that combines action with a good story set in the crime-ridden streets of Detroit.
