Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was released earlier this year and it has caused many players to return to the iconic platformer series. Nobody expected much of the game, especially after all the problems and uncertainty with the development of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. However, the game offers an exciting metroidvania experience that has caused it to rapidly become a hit among the fans of the genre. Polished graphics, a new art style, and gameplay packed with action have brought the game to the top.

Expanding the best Prince of Persia experience

Ubisoft seemed to be pretty confident of the success of the game, and shortly after release announced that it was going to expand Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown with additional content via free updates. Now, the developer has finally revealed what kind of content players can expect to see added to the game in the coming months.

The post-launch roadmap for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown includes new gameplay modes, additional challenges, and a plethora of new cosmetic options and equipment that you can use to enhance your experience in the game. The first pieces of content will arrive in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown next week and will allow players to test their skills in Speedrun mode and Permadeath mode. Also, new cosmetic options will be available to customize Sargon. Mode novelties will be added throughout the year, culminating with the release of the first story DLC for the game sometime by the end of 2024.
