To achieve this, Sony (PlayStation) and AMD have formed a partnership named "Project Amethyst," which focuses on leveraging deep AI technologies to enhance gameplay and graphics.

AMD already has an existing relationship with Sony, serving as the hardware provider for the PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, and PS5 Pro. The modern PlayStation franchise relies on AMD's hardware.
