Phantom Blade Zero download size, pre-load, and release time

That's 2 days before the official release date, October 29, 2026, at 2 A.M. GMT, on PlayStation 5 and PC. Given the size, we recommend using the pre-load window if you're on a slower connection.

The figure comes from PlayStation Game Size, an account that tracks Sony's PlayStation Network database, so 134.857 GB is the number listed for the PS5 version. That puts Phantom Blade Zero among the largest day-one downloads of the current generation.

Phantom Blade Zero is built on Unreal Engine 5 and set in the Phantom World, a dark fantasy take on ancient China shaped by wuxia martial arts tradition. The game will offer an experience that is "neither a Soulslike nor a traditional action game." It features more than 30 main-hand weapons, over 20 Phantom Edge off-hand weapons, and eight possible endings that depend on your side quest choices. A New Game Plus mode unlocks after a full playthrough. With these details in mind, the game’s 134 GB file size may not be particularly surprising. 

The Standard Edition is confirmed at $59.99. The pricing may reflect S-GAME’s intention to offer a more affordable alternative as new games increasingly cost $70 to $80. Phantom Blade Zero will initially be exclusive to PS5 consoles, with an Xbox version planned for a later release. S-Game has not confirmed a release date on Xbox or the possible length of an exclusivity window.
