The upcoming title of the Need For Speed franchise has been officially announced, detailing its launch date and special edition bonuses. Electronic Arts has officially confirmed that the newest installment of their iconic racing series Need For Speed will be available this fall on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. November 10 is the chosen date for the worldwide official launch of Need For Speed: Payback, but EA Access and Origin Access subscribers will be able to try the game a few days earlier, getting to play for 10 hours starting on November 2. Also, those that buy the Deluxe Edition of the game will get a 3 days headstart, being able to play from November 7th as a bonus.
Need For Speed: Payback features a single-player campaign that will take you to Fortune Valley, where you will play as three different characters that have teamed up to try and get revenge from a criminal cartel known as The House. The cartel rules the city`s underworld and Tyler, the Racer; Mac, the Showman; and Jess, the Wheelman will have to work hard to get a chance to take them down. Earning the respect of the Valley's underworld is the only way to go, and to do that you will have to get your hands dirty, taking on dangerous races, heists, and police pursuits. EA claims that car customization will be a very important part of the game. Since you will be able to wager your funds on races through a betting system, it looks like you will be able to put that money to good use tricking out your vehicle and betting on yourself for even more cash, but it will greatly depend on your performance, so get ready for a high-stakes game; no win, no fun.
Those who pre-order the game will receive the Platinum Car Pack, which will grant you access to five cars that can be outfitted with "Platinum Blue Tire Smoke":
If you decide to get Need For Speed: Payback Deluxe Edition you will get the 3 days headstart mentioned above, as well as in-game discounts and bonuses, extra customization items, and both the Platinum Car Pack and the High Roller Pack, with the latter including a set of extra missions. Need For Speed: Payback will feature offline gameplay, so opposite to previous game in the franchise you won't need to be online while playing through a single player experience.
