Now available for the first time as a freebie on the store, Jurassic World Evolution 2 has taken the place of last week’s giveaway, Mortal Shell. Developed by Frontier Developments, the game provides a park-building and management simulation set in the Jurassic Park and World universe. Players can engage with nearly 100 prehistoric species, including dinosaurs and marine reptiles, in a large park, where complex behaviors govern their interactions with the environment.
Players will also need scientists to research and incubate dinosaurs, while building enclosures, lagoons, and aviaries for each species. Besides the campaign mode, the game features a sandbox mode with unlimited resources, a challenge mode for those seeking a tougher survival experience, and even unique "what if" scenarios inspired by the movies.
In terms of content, the game offers up to 100 hours for those aiming to complete everything. To download the game, make sure you have 14 GB of space available.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is currently free to claim on the Epic Games Store. Originally released in 2021, it typically retails for $59.99, but you can acquire it here without spending anything. The next giveaway, which will replace this one, is set to start on March 27.
