Microsoft has renewed the hope of the fans with a statement in a new post about its ID@Xbox program. It seems that Hollow Silk: Silksong is part of their lineup of upcoming games, which opens the door to a possible release that may happen sooner than expected.

The release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is around the corner and FBC: Firebreak should arrive sometime this year. If Hollow Knight: Silksong is on the same boat as these we could be looking at a release in 2025 or early 2026. Of course, Team Cherry is completely silent on this matter and it's quite unlikely that we will have any statement from the studio until they decide to announce a release date. In any case, we will have to wait a bit longer to know about a possible release.
