Halo Infinite will receive more consistent updates

Halo Infinite became a hit right after it was released. The multiplayer part of the game was launched as the first free-to-play experience in the series and it was received with excitement by all the fans. As a new contender in the FPS arena, it rapidly gained momentum and surpassed many other popular franchises in terms of players. As a result, other companies have had to revise their model and adapt in order to keep their games on the breach. The release of the single-player campaign further contributed to the growth of the game, which is currently quite a popular choice for fans of the genre.

Halo Infinite currently receives seasonal content that expands the players' options in the game, but developer 343 Industries wants to deliver a better experience on that matter by releasing more consistent updates. This is what Sean Baron, head of live performance at 343 Industries has revealed in an interview on Xbox Wire.

“In our preview of Season 3, I said that this is the beginning of what seasonality is for Halo Infinite. But ‘seasonality’ is restrictive. To me, seasonality is really about consistency – we need to be consistent in everything. I feel very confident with where we’ve gone with Season 3, and I have very strong confidence that we’re going to be able to keep improving that consistency, and avoid, completely, the long seasons of the past. We’re going to be more consistent. We’re going to continue to evolve the game in close partnership with our players. We’re focused on shipping Season 3 and then, as Chief said, we’re ‘[r]eady to get back to work.’”

Halo Infinite Season 3

The Season 3 began a couple of days ago for Halo Infinite. It continues the story of the Lone Wolves and brings quite a few novelties to the game. These include three new maps Chasm and Cliffhanger for Arena and Oasis for Big Team Battle. Players will have new toys to play with this season, including a smoke screen-type device called shroud screen, and the M392 Bandit Rifle. Of course, there is a new Battle Pass with plenty of rewards for you to unlock.
