Grounded's latest update will open the koi pond for exploration

Obsidian Entertainment has been quite busy adding additional content to Grounded since the game entered Early Access in July. Their survival-adventure game inspired by the film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids has attracted a lot of players since then, even though the final version is not available yet. With very neat graphics and thrilling gameplay mechanics, Grounded puts you in the shoes of a kid that has been shrunk to a tiny size and has to survive in the incredibly dangerous world of the backyard of their home. As you can imagine, the game will pit you against giant insects and all kinds of threats as you explore the familiar grounds of your backyard from a new perspective.

Grounded has received several updates since it entered Early Access, and a brand new one will add a whole new zone to discover in the game. The koi pond in your garden was previously unaccessible but now you will be able to jump into it and explore a marvelous underwater universe in which you will be able to gather more resources for your survival. Of course, there is a huge risk because the pond has some giant koi fishes that are ready to have you as their next meal. There are also new insects, like a spider that is able to dive underwater that will make your adventure even more dangerous. As a reward, there are plenty of new materials available to craft new equipment and weapons, including all you need to succeed in your underwater endeavors.

Although it seems that Grounded will still be in Early Access for a while because no release date has been announced for it yet. It's quite likely that the game will arrive at some point in 2021 but plenty of players have already tried the game in its current version. Grounded had surpassed a million players just 48 hours after becoming available and with the constant updates, the game is only getting better.
