Firaxis reveals Civilization VII system requirements on PC

Sid Meier's Civilization series has been entertaining the fans of turn-based strategy games for so many years that it's currently hard to think about the genre without it. The first installment was released in 1991 and Firaxis Games has improved the original formula over the years with plenty of new features that have contributed to improving realism and immersion. Perhaps the most significant modification in the franchise throughout all these years is probably about its combat, whose mechanics have been significantly improved and now require more engagement from the players. The latest installment in the series, Civilization VI, became a hit the moment it was released, and its content has been expanded with plenty of DLC that added new ways to enjoy the game as well as new civilizations and leaders. The series will soon include a brand new game, Civilization VII, which will bring a graphic overhaul and plenty of exciting novelties.

Civilization VII was announced recently, and Firaxis Games has revealed plenty of footage about the game since then. The studio has released a series of videos focusing on specific leaders that have also served as an introduction to the new mechanics in the game. Cofuncious and Augustus, for example, will offer quite different bonuses to their civilizations, allowing players to take unique approaches to gameplay. While both are expansionists, the first one focuses on scientific improvement and the second one on cultural advancement.

As usual, Civilization VII will build on the mechanics that made its predecessors a success and will improve them to offer a renewed experience that captivates the fans. No matter what leader is your favourite, an engaging and immersive experience is guaranteed. That is if your hardware is appropriate for running the game. Firaxis Games has confirmed the system requirements that your PC has to meet to run the game. You can check these out right below.
