Last week Creative Assembly announced the first big DLC for Total War: Warhammer III. The Ogre Kingdoms were available when the game was released, so you can't really count them as post-launch content. In any case, the Champions of Chaos DLC will add four new legendary lords to the game, each of them representing one of the Ruinous Powers. We already got a glimpse of Azazel, a demon who serves Slaanesh and can charm enemy units with his profane powers. The second legendary lord coming to Total War: Warhammer III revels in Nurgle's putrescence and has a knack for experiments, especially if they involve sickness, ailments, and plagues.
Once a mortal versed in healing, Festus has devoted all his knowledge and soul to spreading Father Nurgle's gift of corruption across the Old World. He can use his powers to heal allies or damage enemies around him, but his gifts are mutually exclusive. With his capability of making the units under his command poisonous and the plagues he can brew, he is a fearsome opponent on any battlefield if you can use him wisely. Festus also increases your units' healing capabilities and the duration of plague effects.
New legendary lords will be presented in the coming weeks. We are sure that Khorne's and Tzeentch's champions will be radically different from each other. While one will have its powers deeply rooted in magic and change, the other should focus on martial power and savagery to obliterate the enemy.
