Dungeons III is free on PC for a limited time

Last week, Epic Games announced that the upcoming free game that would be available on its platform would be a different one, but suddenly and without explanation it was changed to Dungeons III a few days ago. We are definitely not going to complain about that since the strategy game from Realmforge Studios and Kalypso Media is quite an interesting option for those that are looking for a free game to add to their video game library on PC. As usual, the only condition needed to claim Dungeons III and keep it permanently is to log into your Epic Games Store account or create one if you do not have one already. The game will be available for a whole week and it will be replaced by the indie action title The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia after that.

Dungeons III is a real-time strategy game that puts you in the shoes of an evil archvillain. It allows you to create your own dungeon and fill it with a variety of monsters and traps to fend off the intrusion of enemy heroes. You will have to excavate underground and collect resources to build the facilities in your dungeon and get some gold to pay for its maintenance and the creatures to guard it. Then, you will command the monsters that you recruit in your dungeon and send them to explore the surrounding territories, overwhelming whatever resistance you might encounter and expanding your area of influence. Or that is the plan at least. With a campaign that will take you through 20 randomly generated levels and cooperative multiplayer gameplay for two players, Dungeons III is the ultimate dungeon simulation game.

If you would love to become a legendary villain and punish all those puny heroes that think themselves better than you, Dungeons III is quite a fine choice that you should consider, especially at this moment since it's available for free on PC.
