Diablo IV early access beta starts this weekend

Diablo IV early access beta starts this weekend

It’s the month for Diablo IV as the first round of the early access beta begins. We’ve reported before that Diablo IV will be offering the chance to play the game early this month, and now it’s finally here. In the remote chance that you missed it, check out the Diablo IV early access gameplay trailer here:

In preparation, eager players who have pre-ordered the game have already started pre-loading one day ahead of schedule. Players may download the game through the Battlenet app on their PC. The download is 40 Gig in size but can be up to 80 Gig if you choose to install the hi-res texture pack.

The adventure will be relatively short at a few hours long, but it will take you to the Fractured Peaks and bring you face-to-face with the first boss, Ashava. Be ready for a darker, more desolate version of Sanctuary this time around. And note that you will only have access to three classes: Barbarian, Sorcerer, and Rogue.

Those who haven’t pre-ordered the game can have another shot at the 2nd test next weekend, starting Friday, March 24 at 9 am Pacific Time until Monday, March 27 at 12 pm Pacific Time. Players can start pre-loading on Wednesday, March 22, starting at 9 AM PT. This time, the beta will be open to everyone and it will include the remaining two classes of Necromancer and Druid. Do note the system requirements of the game before downloading it.

You will also gain the following rewards for playing the beta: the Initial Casualty title for reaching Kyovashad with a character; the Early Voyager title for reaching level 20 using a character, and; the Beta wolf pack cosmetic item, also for reaching level 20 on one character.

Barring major problems, Diablo IV is set to release on June 6 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One. You can get the cheapest prices available for a Diablo IV PS5 by checking out our listings.
