The sequel to Dead Island will feature enhanced graphics and vastly superior features to its predecessor, as well as new characters. This time, the action is set in Los Angeles, where a zombie outbreak has turned most of the population into ravenous monsters.
One of the big novelties coming to the series in Dead Island 2 is the possibility of playing as an infected survivor that has gained special capabilities due to the virus. This will contribute to offering a refreshing experience that takes the gameplay to a new level and introduces a new damage system that is far more realistic than anything seen to date in any video game.
