Company of Heroes is one of the most popular real-time strategy franchises of all time. With the Second World War as a scenario, the first Company of Heroes was released in 2006, and it was followed by several expansions, becoming a referent in the genre. Its huge success serves as the foundation for Company of Heroes 2 in 2013, a modern sequel that introduced new gameplay mechanics, more armies, scenarios, and more. The game is still counted among the best today, but it's likely that it will soon be replaced by the new installment in the series, Company of Heroes 3.
Developer Relic Entertainment revealed more information about the upcoming title yesterday and finally provided an eagerly awaited release date for Company of Heroes 3: November 17, 2022. The game will launch via Steam on PC, and it will feature four different playable factions and two single-player campaigns: the Italian Dynamic Campaign and the North African Operation.
One of the missions in the North African Operation is currently playable for free. Mission Alpha is available to all players via Steam until July 19. The mission serves as an introduction to the campaign, and it puts you in command of the Deutsches Afrika Korps as they try to expel the British forces from fortified positions in Ajdabiya, Libya. Of course, this is just a small preview of what Company of Heroes 3 will offer at launch. This campaign will follow a classic structure with linear missions. On the other hand, the Italian campaign will feature a massive map, "allowing players to command the overall war effort and experience an unprecedented level of strategic choice."
Multiplayer will also be at the heart of Company of Heroes 3, so you can expect to engage other players in thrilling battles to control the Mediterranean territories.
Company of Heroes 3 will set the new standards for real-time strategy games, becoming a must-have for all the fans of the genre. With our comparator, you can find your Company of Heroes 3 Steam Key at the best price.
