The official reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard last week has set everything in motion to prepare for the launch of the upcoming game in the Call of Duty series. Activision Blizzard is now focused on testing the game, and it will need the help of many players. Things will start slow with the testing, with an alpha event that will run next weekend. From August 27 to August 29, all PlayStation players can participate in the first Call of Duty: Vanguard testing event. It will focus exclusively on the new Champion Hill mode, which features team-based 2v2 and 3v3 tournaments. It takes place in a huge map divided into several sections, and all the teams begin with the same equipment, although they can upgrade it and buy new weapons and items between rounds.
You will have a few days to recover after the initial testing madness from the next weekend. The following opportunity to try the game will arrive on September 10 for all those that have pre-ordered Call of Duty: Vanguard on PlayStation. They will have access to the first beta event of the game, which will run until September 13. All PlayStation players will have access to the final beta event on September 16, along with those that pre-ordered the game on Xbox and PC via Battle.net. Finally, if you don´t plan on buying Call of Duty: Vanguard ahead of its release, but you still want to give it a try, the beta will be open to everyone across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC from September 18 to September 20.
You will need a Battle.net account to take part in the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta if you are playing on PC. Sledgehammer Games is yet to reveal what kind of content will be available during the beta. The only thing they have said on this matter is that it will focus exclusively on multiplayer, so do not expect to play any part in the campaign. Call of Duty: Vanguard will launch on November 5, so there is more room for additional test events if the developer wants to show more of the game.
