Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 teases Blackout battle royale mode

Treyarch and Activision have decided to show us Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout mode. A couple of weeks ago we detailed the upcoming Beta events schedule for Call of Duty: Black Ops series upcoming installment, but there was virtually no info about the new battle royale mode. Today, at last, we can see a tiny bit of it, just a few seconds of footage, but it is more than enough to get us excited about it!

The first part of the video focuses on the multiplayer beta that will take place in a few days, available for those that have pre-ordered the game, and that will give the players access to 6 different game modes on 6 different maps. But the really important part of the video is the one about Blackout mode. With it, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will jump into the battle royale wagon, and even if it´s probably an experience completely different to other games of the genre like Fortnite or PUBG, it could be a really interesting addition to the series.

You can't really figure out much more from the video, other than it's showing different character models, and what seems to be the start of a battle between two teams, but it makes a good job leaving us wondering and wanting for more. Other than that, the video reveals that the Blackout beta will be in September, but there is no confirmation about the exact dates or the ways of joining it. We expect more news on the matter soon to keep you informed.
