Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule Castle has been recreated in Minecraft and it’s virtually stunning!
Nintendo Japan shared a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule Castle that’s entirely built in Minecraft. It was created by Team Kyo, a Microsoft certified group and according to the original article, the castle is up for grabs at the Minecraft store. Microsoft and Nintendo have a pretty good relationship these past few months. If you can remember, the two companies advertised Minecraft together and previous Xbox console exclusive games have begun to pop up on Switch. It’s just good to see that they’re not thinking about the console wars that others seem to be immersed in.

This recent project from both Microsoft and Nintendo has been skilfully crafted and it's looking magnificent. Further details on the production process have been translated by Resetera.
“By referring to the screenshots and official materials taken in the game, we created a design in 1 block units from the height of the terrain to the width of the building. After that, blocks are piled up while comparing screenshots. At this scale, you still need an accurate plan. Thirteen people participated in the production, and it took about two months for the entire production period, including brushing up. Only about the first two weeks, I did the design only.”
Building Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule Castle took huge amounts of creativity, passion, and time. Out of limited resources, just screenshots and promotion materials, all of the thirteen members from Team Kyo were able to put it all together spectacularly. There’s just no telling how their next project will look like!
