Borderlands 4's release date has been confirmed

Gearbox Software is eager to continue the exciting FPS saga despite the bad results of its adaptation to the big screen. Borderlands will return next fall with a new entry that will surely feel like a breath of fresh air to the fans of the looter-shooter genre and the iconic franchise. After teasing the fans with a spectacular trailer showcasing some of the novelties coming in Borderlands 4, which include four brand-new Vault Hunters, the developer studio has confirmed the official release date for the game. The release of Borderlands 4 is scheduled for September 23 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
