Borderlands 3: Krieg the Psycho will be at the heart of the next DLC

With almost a year behind its back, Borderlands 3 has already offered players a fair amount of additional content, including the three DLCs that have already been released: Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, and the latest one, Bounty of Blood.

But Gearbox does not want to stop there. Borderlands 3 is now celebrating its first anniversary and a fourth DLC has just been announced. Dubbed Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, it is slated for release on September 10, just three days before the anniversary date.

Although the Borderlands series was made popular for its quirky side, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is arguably the craziest Borderlands 3 DLC. This fourth additional campaign will take us right into Krieg's mind. Patricia Tannis tries to unravel the secret behind the madness of the psychos, which she blames on the Valhallarch, a mythical place that would drive anyone who knows his true nature mad. Krieg is a beloved player character who first appeared in Borderlands 2. He isn't exactly a classic Psycho, as although his howls are rather inconsistent, he has a much more reasonable inner voice.

This first trailer gives us an overview of the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC without revealing too many details. The crazy side of this new campaign is rather clear but the exact content has not yet been revealed. It may not take too long until we know more, since the gameplay of the next DLC for Borderlands 3 will be revealed on Saturday, August 29, during the Gamescom.

Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck will be the last DLC included in the Borderlands 3 Season Pass, and it is also included in the Super Deluxe Edition.
