Battlefield V gets ready for Gamescom with an amazing trailer

DICE has published a new Battlefield V video to warm up motors before Gamescom starts next Tuesday. "Devastation of Rotterdam" showcases plenty of in-game footage, focusing mainly on the bombing of the city during the German invasión of the Netherlands. Plenty of action, destructible scenarios, vehicles of all kinds and even some of the other theaters of war that you will visit in the game are shown, depicting how chaotic and brutal was fighting during the Second World War. The video closes out with a tiny glimpse to the battle royale mode that Battlefield V will also include. We will probably see a lot of gameplay footage during the next week since the Devastation of Rotterdam map will be playable during this year´s Gamescom, but the trailer is a great preview.

You can´t deny that the game looks amazing, but there are still loads of questions that won´t find an answer until Battlefield V launches on October 19. Will the game be able to hold its ground against the other franchises of the genre? Will the inclusion of said battle royale mode drive the players away from the massive epic battles that have been the trademark of the Battlefield franchise? Will it deliver a true and realistic Second World War experience? Only time will tell.
