There is a new class in World War Z

World War Z is doing quite well despite being a game of a genre that has become quite popular lately. Killing zombies has always been one of the favorite hobbies of video games players, and the third-person shooter from Saber Interactive not only has managed to grasp the essence of the film it's based on, but it also delivers a good dose of thrilling action and interesting gameplay mechanics that have made World War Z a hit.

To make things even better, World War Z is now getting a new class but also cross-play support on all platforms. Until now, cross-play was only available on matchmaking between PC and Xbox One, but the latest patch has extended the feature to PlayStation 4. So pretty much you can now play World War Z with anyone without caring what platform they are playing on.

Regarding the new class, the Dronemaster is the first class ever added to World War Z since it was released. This tech-adept carries his personal drone, which he can use to stun enemies. It's a skill that will come in quite handy to stop a horde of bloodthirsty zeds just enough time to let you escape from them. As you progress through the game you will be able to improve the drone offensive and defensive capabilities.

The latest update also includes a new weapon for players to find on the field. The ACW-20 is a semi-automatic grenade launcher that will let you blow up packs of zeds, like those that the Dronemaster can stun for example.
