Fortnite serves as a scenario to preview the upcoming Christopher Nolan's film

It seems that Epic Games wants to make the most of Fortnite by using it as a platform to offer innovative events that transcend the boundaries of video games. Recently, we were able to attend to an event unique of its kind that broke audience records: the concert of Travis Scott. But Epic Games doesn't seem to want to stop there when it comes to this kind of events and surprises us with new announcements. The Royal Party mode was added to the game recently, and it allows players to enjoy an entire island that offers a variety of non-combat abilities, pretty much like a leisure hub for the players. On its second day, Fortnite players were able to attend a concert of Diplo (Major Lazer) on the big Royal Festival stage, and it turns out that another event of this type took place yesterday.

Royal Party mode was the scenario chosen to reveal a trailer for Christopher Nolan's next film, Tenet. The trailer was unveiled live in the game and presented by Geoff Keighley and John David Washington, who will star in the film. Tenet presents itself as a film about espionage in which the protagonist will have to prevent the third world war by manipulating time. The cast is, as often in Nolan's films, three stars with notably appearances like Michael Caine, Robert Pattinson, Clémence Poésy, or even Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Another surprise was revealed at the end of the trailer. This summer, a "cult" film by Christopher Nolan will be released in Fortnite. We do not yet know which one it is. It could be Memento or Inception, but also one of the movies in The Dark Knight series. That's something that would make sense knowing that Fortnite has already organized crossover events with Batman.

If you missed the event, the trailer will be replayed in Fortnite every hour until tomorrow at 1 a.m. in Party Royale. You can check the timetables at this address.
