Many Fortnite players will probably remember what kind of impact the addition of shopping carts had in the game in the past. The gameplay of Epic Games' battle royale title substantially changed thanks to those. They were incredibly fun but also created some bugs that ultimately caused their removal. It seems that the developers have not dropped the idea of adding four-wheeled vehicles to Fortnite and they have announced that tomorrow's Joy Ride update will add cars to the game.
It’s not just a name. It’s a warning.

The addition of cars was already announced in June when Fortnite Season 3 was revealed but this will be the first time that they are available in the game, and it's just one of the multiple features that the game will receive this season. We don't know yet if there are going to be restrictions on their use or something, but we are sure that they are going to have a huge impact on the gameplay, even if they just allow players to move faster from one place to another. If you can shoot from them while driving, or if you can just stand on top of them and shoot while someone else drives, we are bound to see some impressive stunts in the following days (if you can ride an explosive rocket, a car should be a piece of cake).
We really hope that the new cars do not give any problems and that they stay in the game permanently but we will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happens. No matter what, it's quite likely that Fortnite will continue being the most popular battle royale game of all time. It may become even more popular now that one of the features that made PUBG different will be shared by both games.
