Fallout 76's Wastelanders free update is coming in April

Fallout 76 suffered a bit when it was originally released but the game experienced a resurgence with the release of Nuclear Winter, a Battle Royale mode that piqued the interest of the players. Bethesda has not forgotten the game and they have been added quite a bit of free content since it was released. We could see the addition of new quests, events and gameplay features with the Wild Appalachia update, which included a revamp of the crafting system in the game. As a result, the population of the game has been more or less stable, and all those players are now eager to play the upcoming Wastelanders expansion.

Wastelanders is an expansion for Fallout 76 that will be released on April 7th. If you own the game you will be able to get it for free on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC through Bethesda.net. But if you have not tried Fallout 76 yet, it will be available on Steam from the same date too and, of course, Wastelanders also comes with the standard or deluxe versions of the game for Valve's platform. This update is eagerly awaited by the players because it will add a lot of more content, including a brand-new main questline, locations, enemies, weapons, a new reputation system and much more. Also, the introduction of fully voiced NPCs to the world of Fallout 76 will definitely change the way you play the game. It's not that Fallout 76 is going to become a new version of Fallout 4, but the update will contribute to making the Wasteland quite a different place.

As an important notice, Bethesda has confirmed that the Atoms (in-game currency) that you have in your Fallout 76 are specific to the platform in which you are playing the game. That's something that won't happen with items purchased through the Atomic Shop, which will be shared across Bethesda.net and Steam.
