The end-all, be-all of console action games. Period...For me GTA3 is the best action game I have ever played on a console system and I highly recommend it to adults (the intended audience of this game) who know the difference between good and evil.

It is the first 3D game of the series and therefore it has a lot of driving tasks and it is extremely boring. It's meh in terms of story, but it's a revolution in itself for the rockstar.

Spent way too many hours in GTA3, flying the dodo and also the tank - such a groundbreaking game for its time! Really made Rockstar Games the massive studio they are today.

I'm so glad I got to grow up when games were evolving at one hell of a rate. Not only did you have new games to look forward to, but the boundaries they were breaking and redefining made gaming feel fresh and new every couple years. You can't underplay just how immense the jump to GTA III was. I think it fried my pre teen brain and set me on a quest to find media that feels so fresh and exciting and cutting edge that continues to this day.

The Grand Theft Auto III is considered one of the most revolutionary open worlds of all time, I don't even think it needs to be specified, Claude Speed's adventure has inspired generations upon generations since its release way back in 2001, accompanying the childhoods of many modern-day veterans , me too! Set in Liberty City, a map made up of three islands, the famous action adventure by DMA Design and Rockstar Games kept us busy for a potentially out-of-control amount of hours.

Never managed to finish this one, but after going through the entirety of both San Andreas and Vice City it felt like something was missing. I'm sure it's a great game anyway and it's thanks to it as a starting point that the GTA franchise evolved into what it is today.

I don't remember laying my hands on this one, but it was Rockstar's 3D transition at the time, I believe, and the feedback has been positive.

The first GTA blockbuster that I tested recently. The game is still playable, even if the gameplay and graphics are necessarily dated. A must for fans of the license.

GTA 3 and its new 3D graphics. It was crazy! Even though I like it the least, I remember the non-stop beatings with the bat because it was the easiest weapon to pick up in the game. Don't really remember the story though...

Oh, I remember this game when it was new... The 3D graphics were so beautiful... I loved it. The action in this game was awesome back then ;) It's a good game and a good game for its time.
