When a massive alien structure appears in the orbit of our planet, all countries put together a special response unit that is sent to investigate its origins. The SCAR ( Sentient Contact Assessment and Response) team is comprised of scientists and engineers whose mission is to learn everything they can about the alien object. But they are in for a surprise when they are transported to the other side of the universe and find themselves on a mysterious planet. 

In Scars Above you play as Kate, one of the members of the SCAR team who has to survive by any means in such a hostile alien environment. As a scientist, you will use your knowledge to explore and research the strange planet you are on while looking for a way to return home. You have not been trained as a soldier, but you will have to fight strange alien creatures if you want to survive. Scan your enemies to find out their weak points, gather intel, and research new technologies to craft gadgets and weapons that will help you to stay alive and progress in this epic adventure.
