Sid Meier's Civilization VI - Maya & Gran Colombia Pack is an expansion pack that adds two new civilizations to the game - the Maya and Gran Colombia - along with a variety of new gameplay features and enhancements.
The Maya civilization is led by Lady Six Sky, who is considered the first female ruler in recorded history. The Maya are known for their advanced knowledge of astronomy and their impressive architectural achievements, which are reflected in their unique abilities and buildings in the game. The Maya have a unique ability called "Mayab" which grants them additional food and production for each Luxury Resource adjacent to their cities. They also have a unique unit called the Hul'che, which is a ranged unit that gains bonuses when attacking from higher ground.
The Gran Colombia civilization is led by Simon Bolivar, who is considered one of the most important figures in South American history. The Gran Colombia civilization is focused on military strength and has a unique ability called "Ejercito Patriota" which grants them additional movement for their units and bonus combat strength when fighting in their own territory or that of their allies. Gran Colombia also has a unique unit called the Llanero, which is a cavalry unit that gains additional combat strength for each adjacent Llanero.
In addition to the two new civilizations, the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack also includes new City-States, resources, and natural wonders. There are also new game modes, such as Apocalypse Mode which adds natural disasters and other catastrophic events to the game.
