Steal from the rich to give to the needy of feudal Japan in Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief, an action game where skillfully robbing people is the name of the game. Play as Ebizo, a retired down-on-his-luck thief who must return to crime to buy medicine for his ailing foster daughter, Suzuna. With no other choice to gain money, Ebizo must do what he knows best: go into the streets and homes of Mikado and rob people blind.
As Ebizo, perform fancy footwork and comedic combos to sneak up on citizens and relieve them of their valuables. The bigger you chain your combos, the more stuff you can steal. Evade detection using ninja-like tricks such as hanging from the ceiling or standing behind pillars. Cartwheel and backflip to reach your targets or escape from enemy attacks. Do well and you can build your reputation as a master thief.
Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief features multiple branching storylines determined by the choices you make. Play each one to get a new ending. The way of the thief may be harsh, but it’s the only path you have to save your daughter.
