Eidolon throws you into a world that has moved on from humanity. A first-person survival exploration game, Eidolon is set in the state of Washington in the year 2400, ages after the land had been abandoned. As a nameless wanderer, you must wander this area reclaimed by the wilderness, looking for notes and articles that tell the story of a time gone by.
Explore an enormous map of hundreds of square miles where you could wander for weeks and even get lost. As with any survival game, you must watch your fatigue, hunger, and thirst to stay alive. Craft weapons and tools to hunt for game, or forage for food in remote areas. Stay aware of your surroundings, as predators will treat you as their next meal if you are unprepared.
As you wander across expansive forests, plains, hills, and ruins, you will come across documents that tell stories from the past. Put together the stories to find out what happened long ago, and solve the mystery of Eidolon.
