Welcome eight new reasons to wage war in Ancient China. Total War: THREE KINGDOMS - Eight Princes is a DLC for the hit strategy game that is set 100 years after the story of the first campaign. Choose one of eight powerful princes to see who will become the supreme ruler of the Middle Kingdom.
The year is 291 BC, and once more, China is on the brink of civil war. The power of the Jin Dynasty has been fractured among eight princes, each vying for full control of the government.
Choose a warlord prince to side with. Each character has their own goals and gameplay style. Sima Yong specializes in defense infrastructure, while Sima Wei is a general who excels at aggressive expansion. Select the playstyle you prefer, and work to advance your character from minor prince to grand prince to imperial prince. Woo the nobles to your cause, for if you lose their support, you will likely have a violent insurrection on your hands.
Select an alignment to work towards: Mind, Spirit, Might, or Wealth. Each one confers a type of bonus for your faction. The more your choices lean towards a certain alignment, the more you encounter events that match your choice.
