You are Jan Dolski, a worker who has crashlanded on an alien planet. Faced with a dire and possibly deadly situation, your only hope is to have multiple hands to help keep your base running. And so you duplicate yourself, creating the Alters.

These are not clones but alternate versions of you. Each has their own skills, but also their own personality and individual needs, having taken a different life path from you. To survive, you must take care of and build relationships with them until you can find a way out.

A game about life-altering decisions and the consequences that follow, The Alters dares to ask the question: what if? What if you chose differently and took another life path? What if you could talk to other versions of yourselves and learn what they think of you? The game aims to make you think even as it entertains you. Can you actually live with yourself?
