The legendary action game that changed the course of the Resident Evil series returns. Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the 2005 original, updated with today’s technology for modern audiences. Not only will it have vivid graphics, enhanced gameplay, and a reimagined story, but it will also provide a more gut-wrenching horror experience, in keeping with the latest entries in the franchise.

It has been six years since the Umbrella Corporation unleashed a biological nightmare in Racoon City. For his heroic actions, Leon S. Kennedy has been brought into a task force under the President of the United States. His latest mission: locate the President’s daughter, Ashley Graham, who has been kidnapped by a mysterious cult. The search takes him to an isolated village in Europe, populated by hostile villagers under the cult’s control. As Leon finds out about their true nature, he realizes he got more than he bargained for.

Resident Evil 4 introduces new gameplay mechanics that significantly impact your choices in combat. Leon is able to crouch and take cover, which he couldn't in the original game. These options allow for slightly different approaches to many encounters, especially those where the enemies use ranged weapons. Stealth will also take a more prominent role in this version, which conversely allows for better management of the ammunition.

The game features "over-the-shoulder" third-person shooter gameplay similar to the original, while introducing several novelties such as quick time events and an inventory system that allows players to store items in a briefcase. Resident Evil 4 also includes several additional features such as breakable weapons which can be used strategically during combat, new puzzles that require creative solutions and an expanded arsenal of weapons for players to choose from.

Featuring the return of Leon, Ashley, Luis, Chief Mendez, Luis Sera, and Ada Wong, this new game reimagines the original's storyline while maintaining its spirit and direction. This is Resident Evil 4 the way it’s meant to be played.

I think the lighting can be better than the initial gameplay videos. Hope they add Ray-Traced shadows and make this visually stunning.

I played the classical version dozens of times and now I would love to revisit the village but in more horror environment and with new tastes!

Updated graphics and mechanics, lots of bad guys, blood and the classic creepy atmosphere of the franchise. A good title for those who have never played the previous episodes. A demo is also available for you to try before you buy.

Resident Evil games just deserve a remake, such iconic games that were the foundation stones of the great games we have now. If you have never played an older RE game i suggest everyone to get the remastered version.

from what i have seen from teasers/trailers only the graphics and the controls are better than the original, havent seen any new content. I hope its worth the price gap from the original RE2. On that note i am a boomer who played this on the PS2 back in the golden age and i remember it was a good ass game. I hope they wont ruin it with this remake.... not that they did with the rest of their remakes, actually good job.

Pour avoir testé la démo du jeu et jamais jouer à l'original, ça donne vachement envie de découvrir l'aventure d'Ashley et de Leon S.Kennedy ! J'ai vu pu voir le jeu en intégralité sur YouTube, étant une flipette des jeux d'horreur et non des films (Peut-être trop d'immersion je sais pas) J'ai pu faire Re 3.4.5.6 avec de la coop, c'est de très bons jeux ! Sauf peut-être les derniers un peu trop "Action" Mais que j'ai quand même aimer et RE:Village ! Un jeu incroyable ! Voilà Voilà !
Having tested the demo of the game and never played the original, it really makes you want to discover the adventure of Ashley and Leon S.Kennedy! I could see the game in full on YouTube, being a horror games flipette and not movies (Maybe too much immersion I don't know) I could do Re 3.4.5.6 with co-op, it's very good games ! Except maybe the last ones a little bit too "Action" but I still liked them and RE:Village ! An incredible game ! That's it !

Ce jeu est le remake d'un classique de 2005 qui permettra au joueur de vivre une expérience améliorée grâce aux ajustements graphiques, du gameplay et de l'ambiance globale. En espérant que le lance roquette ne tue pas certains boss en 1 coup cette fois ci.

Residend Evil est une bonne franchise mais j'aurais préféré un nouvel opus plutôt que le remake d'un ancien. Maintenant, pouvoir rejouer à ce jeu est super mais pas au prix d'un jeu récent.
Residend Evil is a good franchise but I would have preferred a new opus rather than a remake of an old one. Now, being able to play this game again is great but not at the price of a recent game.
