Total War: WARHAMMER - The Grim and the Grave is a DLC that brings two legendary lords to Total War: Warhammer, accompanied by several lords, new units, and regiments of renown to enhance your campaign. Whether you choose Volkmar the Grim or Helman Ghorst as the leader of your campaign, you will enjoy plenty of new and exciting gameplay options.
Volkmar the Grim leads the Cult of Sigmar and is the most influential religious figure in the Empire. Numerous flagellants follow the Grand Theogonist, and he boosts them on the battlefield, making these crazed martyrs fight to the last breath. He can also use Grand Prayers to empower the troops under his command for the glory of Sigmar.
Helman Ghorst is a powerful necromancer who can boost the regenerative capabilities of the troops in his army and confer them poisonous attacks. He can also summon a powerful unit of Dread Guard to assist him in battle.
These two legendary lords can also recruit Arch Lectors and the Strigoi Ghoul King respectively, to aid them on the battlefield. Both types of lords can cast powerful spells and bring new tactical possibilities. Also, Flagellants, Knights of the Blazing Sun, and Freeman Militia make Empire armies deadlier than ever. On the Vampire Counts side, the Corpse Cart and the Mortis Engine will enhance the regenerative capabilities of the undead, making them a recurring nightmare that can outlast any threat.
