SNK’s all-time greatest fighting game makes an explosive comeback with THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV. The first game of the KOF series to run on Unreal Engine 4, this episode will feature more ferocious fighting as tons of familiar faces return and new fighters enter the ring. This time around, Chizuru Kagura calls on the fighters to help maintain the seal on Orochi, even as Verse from KOF IV returns to spread destruction and mayhem. KOF XV will boast 39 characters to choose from at launch. The story mode promises a breathtaking climax as all these champion fighters clash. Fan favourites Kyo Kusanagi, Athena Asamiya, Shermie, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, and more are ready to do battle!
True to form, KOF XV will still use the classic mechanic of teams composed of three fighters. The new mechanic is Shatter Strike, which lets you parry and counter an incoming attack.
