Enter an atmospheric journey through a post-apocalyptic planet in FAR: Changing Tides. Play as a young boy, Toe, wakes up alone and stranded in a dangerous ocean world, and must sail a ship across restless waters to look for a new home.
A sequel to FAR: Lone Sails, you are now in control of a vessel that works as a boat and a submarine. Instead of a desert wasteland, you now cross endless seas, dive into the ocean depths, and explore ruins of a fallen civilization.
FAR: Changing Tides brings new environments to explore: arctic waters, strange cities, and an ocean floor riddled with debris. Solve environmental puzzles to progress through the story. Look for salvage and parts to refuel and repair your ship to stay on your journey. As time goes by, you’ll learn more about your ship’s complex machinery and what you must do to keep it going.
Finally, the game includes an amazing soundtrack that changes according to the actions you take. It ranges from meditative music as you sail across an empty sea, to an exciting crescendo when you are confronted by danger. Coupled with gorgeous background art, FAR: Changing Tides is an absorbing, moody, and unforgettable game about living despite the odds.
