The “Mysterious Saga" continues with the second installment of this JRPG series, Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey DX. The story focuses on Firis Mistlud, a young girl in an isolated mining town, who dreams of living adventures in the outside world. By chance, she meets Sophie and Plachta, the two alchemists from the previous game. Inspired by Sophie, Firis decides to become an alchemist, leave her village, and pass the Alchemist Licensing Exams. She has one year to prepare for this monumental task. It’s up to you to make sure she succeeds.
Atelier Firis is a JRPG that features a slice-of-life story, time management mechanics, and alchemy systems for creating items. It’s also the first game of its series to feature an open world for you to explore, as well as weather and a day and night cycle. Gather ingredients from exploring and fighting monsters. Combine ingredients using magical catalysts in order to create new items that grant bonuses. Beware, item effects and monster abilities can change depending on the weather and the time of day!
