Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a cooperative multiplayer game that puts you in the boots of a Colonial Marine, fighting for your life against wave after wave of horrifying aliens. It is 2202, a full 23 years after the events of the Alien Trilogy. You are part of a team of Colonial Marines, answering a distress call on planet LV-895. You’re the elite, trained to have no fear, equipped with the best weapons the army can provide. But nothing can prepare you for the hordes of xenomorphs infesting the drop zone. Rule1: Fight together. In Aliens: Fireteam Elite, your team of three takes on hordes of aliens cooperatively through four-story campaigns, each containing three missions. Play with friends or with AI teammates.
Customize your marines. Choose a class between Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc, and Recon. Choose from among 30+ weapons distributed between close-combat, handguns, rifles, and heavy ordinance. Customize your favorite weapon with extra mags, muzzles, and optics. Find and use power-ups gathered from caches scattered across the maps. Weapons will include M41A2 Pulse Rifle, Kramer Assault Rifle, Type 78 Heavy Assault RifleAuto-turrets, Light Machinegun, Portable grenade launcher, and the iconic Flamethrower.
Battle the horde. You’ll face 20 types of enemies, 11 of which are Xenomorph variants. These will include types like Runner, Drone, Praetorian, Prowler, Burster, and Spitter. Be wary too of non-alien foes, such as malfunctioning Weyland-Yutani androids.
Choose your arena. Fight through different realistic environments inspired by the Alien franchise, from infested colonies to the heart of the Hive itself. You can alter the difficulty and even alter the gameplay using Challenge Cards, which change the make-up or population of enemies on each level.
The enemy is savage, hungry, and relentless. Only you and your buddies stand in the way of a full-scale invasion. You have no choice--fight like the world depends on it!
