Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is the next part of the adventures of the heroine-alchemist named Ryza, in which the action takes place 3 years after the events of the previous game, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. The heroine joins forces again with her friends and sets out on a journey to the capital in order to find a great treasure and explore mysterious ruins.

Ryza has a host of new abilities in this installment - she can climb, dive, negotiate narrow passageways and use a magical rope to move around the world, all of which take exploration to the next level. Gameplay elements from the previous game have also been improved, including the synthesis system that allows you to restore damaged items. A big emphasis has been placed on the alchemy system with many new recipes and ingredients to choose from.

In addition, you will also develop your team, complete missions, and fight tactical battles in real-time. During those battles, the heroes will gain points that will allow them to use special moves.

The game is a single-player adventure that combines the style of Japanese RPG in 3D with fairy tale fantasy.
