The West isn’t just wild, it’s a blast! Bombslinger is a roguelike action game inspired by the classic Bomberman. You are a cowboy, a former criminal who turned to the peaceful life of a rancher. But when Gunslinger and your former gang murder your wife, it’s time to saddle up and serve them some vengeance in the form of a very large bomb with a very short wick.
As in the original Bomberman, you play in a top-down view, navigating in a 2D procedurally-generated map filled with diverse obstacles. To win, you must eliminate all enemies on the map by planting bombs and detonating them. It won’t be easy, as you’ll be faced with bandits, crazed workers, angry dogs, angrier goats, and of course, bosses. If you die, you start over.
But you have your own bag of tricks. Pick up guns and tomahawks from fallen enemies and attack from a distance. Gain XP from defeated foes, which you can then use to level up your character’s abilities: increase your movement speed, gain more bombs, heal damage, and raise your defense against bullets.
Fight Gunslinger and his minions in the single-player campaign mode, or take part in a duel with friends at high noon in Deathmatch or Last Man Standing modes. Either way, Bombslinger is a recipe for an explosive good time!
