The End of the Sun is a first-person adventure and exploration fantasy game with rich narration and lots of puzzles to solve. It's published and developed by the Polish, small, 3-person studio The End of the Sun Team with the help of a Kickstarter campaign. The leitmotif of the game is Slavic mythology and its culture, rituals, legends, and beliefs. The graphics in the game are made with a large share of photogrammetry techniques, where shapes, objects, and more were transferred to the virtual world using special photos. The studio scanned hundreds of objects, plants and even buildings from ethnographic museums to faithfully reflect their appearance in the game. We will see the effects of these works while playing the role of Ashter, who has knowledge about Navia, the space in which human destiny is shaped. He has some special skills, including time travel. While he is looking for his friend he arrives in a strange, deserted, Slavic village, where he will learn the history of the people who once lived in it. When lighting a bonfire, he can travel many years in time, so the seasons and times of the day will change, as well as the age of the people living in the village. By performing various sequences and actions in the game, you can influence the history of the game, because events from the past will affect the future fate of the inhabitants. Non-linear gameplay allows for a more individual approach to the game. Some scenes in history and surroundings will only appear if you have marked specific paths of destiny. By immersing yourself in the game world, you will have the opportunity to see objects long forgotten and unused today as well as discover old habits and activities.
